Position Summary

SolomonEdwards is looking for a Mortgage Processor and Mortgage Closer with our client in Plano, TX. This person will act as a key contributor to facilitate efficient and effective processes that support business and customer service objectives. Responsibilities may be limited within a specific function/channel or across functions/channels.

Responsibilities

• Performing routine data entry and validation tasks

• Initiating third party orders (title, appraisal, hazard, flood cert, credit, etc.)

• Reviewing and validating loan documents

• Handling routine calls, emails and/or chat responses

• Assigning and distributing work loads

• Monitoring work queues and intervening as needed

• Interacting with multiple departments to expedite processing and/or issue resolution

• Performing other related duties as required and assigned

Position Requirements

• High School diploma or GED

• 3 years of experience in processing or closing

• Onsite in Plano, TX

• $21/hour

Other Requirements

• Complete understanding of Fannie and Freddie investor guidelines and requirements

• Processing/Underwriting experience to the level of debt to income assessment, credit and income evaluation

• Excellent critical thinking, time management and communication skills

• General understanding of applicable Federal, State and Local regulations

Salary range $21.00/hr W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
