    SUMMARY:

    The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing Human Resources support to assigned functional areas of the HR Department for the Company. Principally responsible for administrative support to human resources function as needed including HRIS analysis and entry; record keeping, reporting, and file maintenance. Carries out primary responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee communications; HRIS and Reporting; Data Analysis and verification; affirmative action and employment law compliance.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Addresses general employee and management questions or concerns brought through HR portal; email contact; Addresses the general inquiry methods including policy and or internal procedure questions.

    Assists with monitoring the HR Mailbox on a daily basis.

    Prepares correspondence, process transactions in HRIS and Payroll Systems, maintains employee and records and according to process and procedures for controlling personnel transactions and reporting personnel data.

    Assist as a liaison to System One field offices to monitor and respond to background check investigations and drug screening with third party vendors.

    Provides background check and drug screening support for programs with field offices and third-party vendors.

    Create and coordinate delivery of necessary compliance letters/packets, including FCRA related to background checks and drug screens.

    Verifies employment and completes and manages all employment verification process.

    May assist with implementation if approved new employment programs or policies or updates to existing ones.

    Assists in development of standard reports for and provides ongoing reporting needs as assigned. Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Help maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.

    Assists with maintenance required reporting including of EEO-1 Report and Veterans Reporting information as required.

    Assists or prepares employee correspondence.

    Processes mail for HR and Employee Benefits Departments.

    Completes HR project work as assigned by Human Resources Manager.

    Gathers documents for subpoena responses on an as needed basis.

    Participates in audits of HR processes on an as needed basis.

    • Other duties assigned as needed.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Bachelors or Associates degree in Human Resources or Related field or equivalent experience and/or coursework in Human Resources Management

    • Experience dealing with Human Resources related transactions.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

    Proficient with MS Office

    Must possess demonstrated Mastery with Excel particularly with more complex functions including v-look ups and pivot tables.

    High attention to detail

    Able to effectively prioritize and address multiple items.

    Demonstrated problem solving abilities.

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    Prior experience with Human Resources transactions

    Experience with ADP Systems or EV5

    Prior work experience in Professional or Staffing Services Human Resources, Recruiting or role responsible for onboarding.
