HVAC/R MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

THIS POSITION REQUIRES: CERTIFICATION: UNIVERSAL EPA

THIS POSITION STARTS AT $22-$30 AN HOUR AND REQUIRES A 50 HOUR WORKWEEK.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Tacala Companies is currently looking for a qualified and self-motivated HVAC/R Service Technician to join our team!

Our HVAC/R Service Technicians provide year-round preventative maintenance and repair of kitchen and lobby equipment in our restaurants. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently with both employees, customers and vendors and communicate effectively both verbally and in a written manor.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS

EXPERIENCE: 3 - 5 years

EDUCATION: Technical school graduate or degree

SKILLS: Must be knowledgeable with the following manufacturers - Trane, Delfield, Pitco, Henny Penny and Hatco

SKILLS: Handyman - refrigeration (walk-in coolers and freezers), restaurant kitchen equipment, minor plumbing and electrical and HVAC/R

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB (not an all-inclusive list):

• HVAC/R

• Kitchen cooking equipment and ice machines

• Electrical troubleshooting

• Building maintenance/handyman services

• Routine restaurant upkeep and repairs

• Use of internal tracking software

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds

• Must have three (3) years of experience with HVAC/R, restaurant kitchen equipment and commercial ice machines

• Must have the ability to travel from location to location - remote field work

• Must be seeking a full-time position and available to work the required hours per week
