HVAC Supervisor - active Secret

ASRC Federal is seeking to identify a certified HVAC Supervisor with an active Secret clearance in anticipation of upcoming work in Huntsville, AL.

Overview:

The ideal candidate will assume responsibility for leading, managing, and overseeing a team of HVAC Service Technicians and Plumbers , including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.

Responsibilities:

• Arrange workforce schedules for planned maintenance and service calls.

• Offer technical assistance to HVAC technicians, the Sales team, and the Project Estimator.

• Accompany technicians on site visits for training, job feedback, safety checks, and general communication.

• Coordinate the maintenance of the company's vehicle fleet.

• Review labor, materials, and notes for all completed Work Orders.

• Examine plans, specifications, submittals, and other project documentation for proposal preparation.

• Handle HVAC project estimation, bidding, and proposal generation.

• Secure permits from local cities/governments when necessary.

• Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce safety guidelines.

• Monitor the progress of jobs/projects and discuss project outcomes with the leadership team.

• Collaborate with the sales team, offering technical expertise and support to potential and existing customers.

• Foster and maintain professional relationships with current and potential customers, employees, and vendors.

• Conduct annual performance evaluations of assigned personnel as directed.

• Oversee project labor reporting to customers.

Requirements :

Qualifications :

• High school/college graduate, holder of G.E.D., or equivalent studies/experience.

• 2 years of management experience

• 3 years working in the HVAC field.

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills

• Ability to multi-task

• Team player, leader and motivated to learn and take ownership and accountability.

• Change agent, demonstrating courageous leadership driving and continuous improvement mindset.

• Valid State Driver's License & clean driving record

• Must be a US Citizen. Active Secret clearance.

• Be able to successfully complete a government issued background investigation.

Tools/Technology/Certifications:

• Must be a certified HVAC Technician
