    Job Title: IDIQ Manager

    Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for an IDIQ Manager in the Alexandria, VA, and DMV (Washington DC Metropolitan Area)

    The IDIQ Manager develops scopes of work, prepares the project estimates, and coordinates various construction projects to completion as related to the contract. This position requires organizational, supervisory, and communication skills plus an understanding of numerous mechanical and structural systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural, etc.)

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assist sites throughout the DMV (Washington, DC metropolitan area)

    • Using direction from the government representative, prepare the scope of work for various types of construction or repair projects.

    • Prepare estimates that are submitted to the client for approval.

    • Prepare equipment and material submittals for client approval.

    • Acquire permits as required.

    • Coordinate the construction work in consultation with the site staff in the affected areas to minimize the disruption of operations.

    • Prepare safety plans that ensure the contractors and or in-house staff are following OSHA safety and other site-specific standards during the renovations (such as The Joint Commission (TJC))

    • Prepare environmental plans that ensure the contractors and our in-house staff are following required control policies and procedures.

    • prepare and implement required documentation of safety measures during projects.

    • Prepare a punch list at the completion of renovations and ensure that all work is completed per specifications and in a professional manner.

    • Schedule equipment commissioning and prepare the project reports for the government.

    • Assure completion of "as-built" documentation for EMCOR's records and the government.

    • Coordinate invoicing to the client to ensure timely accounts receivable receipts upon completion.

    • Ability to read and understand architectural and mechanical drawings.

    • Ability to read and understand manufacturer's submittals and literature.

    • Ability to specify and order material.

    • Ensure compliance with department safety and quality standards to optimize effective utilization of resources and productivity.

    • Provide oversight and management of the subcontractors utilized.

    • Assure compliance with standard Lock Out Tag Out procedures.

    • This position has no direct reports; however, this individual will supervise subcontractors.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be a US Citizen

    • Must possess or be able to obtain a TS with SCI eligibility

    • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct, and control all aspects of project activities.

    • Ability to work with the customer to find mutually satisfactory solutions to difficult issues.

    • Ability to work with management systems and a variety of skilled/unskilled, professional, administrative, and industry personnel.

    • General working knowledge of major facilities systems, RS Means, MAXIMO, and Government contracting procedures.

    • Strong experience with Windows and MS Office

    • Demonstrated skill at developing and nurturing client relationships.

    • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.

    • Must complete an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health training class (supplied by EMCOR)

    • Must complete an OSHA 30 General Industry Safety and Health training class (supplied by EMCOR)

    • Must have a current valid driver's license.

    Physical Demands

    The individual must be able to walk throughout a large facility, including climbing stairs, entering machinery room spaces, confined space entry, and other physical tasks associated with running multi-building complexes.
