    Primary Responsibilities:

    Sells all Core-Mark products, promotions and programs to existing accounts, prospective accounts, multi-unit accounts, and national accounts via telephone, fax, email and/or other proprietary software systems while exercising general account management responsibilities.

    Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

    • Provides vacation relief for Sales Route Representatives.

    • Manages regular order processing/order gathering procedures for established designated accounts, temporary "fill-in" accounts and/or category specific target accounts.

    • Promotes new products and programs to customers with use of company marketing materials via phone, electronic transmission (email, internet and/or other proprietary software) and/or traditional mailing.

    • Promotes item(s) and/or item categories for the purpose of promotional sales, close-out or inventory reduction sales or general account penetration.

    • Manages general account management including but not limited to accounts receivable collections, delivery, or other operational issues, arranging on-site visits by merchandising staff, management staff or other company personnel.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Skill in various office equipment such as computers, proprietary software and hardware, general email and internet, phone system, etc.

    • Ability to communicate with department managers, co-workers and business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.

    • Ability to be task and team oriented and focused on goal achievement.

    • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

    • Ability to check and correct own work.
