Interim Accounting Supervisor

Description

We are hiring an Interim Accounting Supervisor to oversee financial operations at our client who is an established and successful professional services firm. Duration is unknown but likely 8-12 weeks, potentially longer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing timely reports, managing partner distributions, and collaborating with external accounting firms on tax matters. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the success of department in this interim period.

Key Responsibilities may include

Manage financial policy and controls

Oversee partnership income distribution and tax obligations

Administer retirement plans

Handle banking transactions and relationships

Supervise payroll administration

Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes

Manage benefits administration

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

3+ years of financial accounting experience

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
