IT Manager

Description We are looking for a dedicated IT Manager to join our team in the Legal industry in Edison, New Jersey. The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing our IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems, and leading our IT team. This role involves working collaboratively with different departments, demonstrating strong leadership skills, and staying updated on the latest IT trends and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of the IT department, ensuring effective coordination of teams and resources.

• Manage customer service responsibilities, addressing issues promptly and professionally.

• Be willing to work outside of normal hours during emergencies to ensure the continuity of IT services.

• Stay proactive in learning about and adapting to evolving technologies.

• Demonstrate strong attention to detail when analyzing IT trends and reports, using this information to drive improvements.

• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.

• Manage and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, including but not limited to Windows Enterprise solutions, VMWare, Converged Infrastructure, Enterprise Networking Solutions, VoIP Infrastructure, Network Faxing, SAN, VPN Services, and Firewall.

• Oversee IT project management, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Adhere to IT governance frameworks and compliance standards, ensuring the organization remains compliant with all relevant regulations.

• Ensure the effective maintenance of IT hardware, including computers, printers, and other devices.

• Utilize expertise in Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Contracts, and Microsoft Exchange to drive the success of our IT operations. Requirements - Demonstrated proficiency in Cisco Technologies

• Extensive knowledge of Cloud Technologies

• Proficiency in Database management

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Proficiency in Active Directory

• Extensive knowledge of Backup Technologies

• Proficiency in Computer Hardware

• Experience in Configuration Management

• Familiarity with Contracts

• Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange

• Previous experience in a legal environment is preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Proven ability to manage and lead a team

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent work experience

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent project management skills
