IT Security Specialist

Description Responsibilities

• Identity and Access Management (IAM) engineer focusing primarily on Identity Management services (MicroFocus (OpenText) and RadiantLogic preferred) including:

o Enterprise LDAP Directories

o Meta Directory Replication

o User and Access provisioning and de-provisioning workflows

• Consulting with customers on how best to integrate with the Identity Management solutions and then working with those customers on implementation of solution

• Working along with Architects to design and implement the future state of the IAM solution

• Operational responsibilities with managing and supporting the IAM services

• Off hours incident and change management responsibilities as part of a rotation

• Proactively manages and troubleshoots Identity Management environment. Looks for opportunities to automate manual tasks for continuous improvement.

• Review identified vulnerabilities and build and execute remediation steps

• Strong knowledge of integration of Identity Management solutions with Access Management solutions

Qualifications

• Passionate about continuously improving organizational security practices

• Strong troubleshooting skills for LDAP related problems with connections, invalid queries, etc.

• Experience in Development / scripting languages such as Javascript, Powershell, Python, and Perl.

• Team player. Ability to collaborate across team members and other organizations

• Familiarity with configuring or working with software like Apache and Tomcat

• Base understanding of SQL databases (reading and writing SQL queries, connections, and schema)

• Base level of understanding and use of APIs

• Base level understanding of load balancing environments

• Experience with complex, distributed Identity and Access Management environments a plus

• Ability to track and research changes within the information security field and provide actionable intelligence Requirements
