Job Title: IT Service Management Specialist

Summary: The IT Service Management Specialist plays a crucial role in growing and operating the Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) program. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, this position combines technical expertise with strong communication skills to enhance IT services.

Key responsibilities include providing hardware and software support, configuring and administering the ITSM tool, leading improvement initiatives, and maintaining professionalism during interactions with executives. The IT Service Management Specialist collaborates with junior technical support staff and IT personnel to ensure efficient operations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform root cause analysis and resolve complex IT issues related to hardware and software (e.g., Lenovo Laptops, Apple iPhones, MS Windows, M365).

• Communicate effectively and professionally with various stakeholders, including executives.

• Identify, lead, and implement ITSM improvement initiatives based on ITIL and industry best practices.

• Prioritize and execute tasks with meticulous attention to detail.

Required Skills

• 7 or more years of experience within IT, preferably in a support based position

• Ability and experience in identifying, leading, and implementing ITSM improvement initiatives

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• ITIL 4 Foundation certification or similar.

• CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent.

• PMP certification or a similar project management certification.
