Denali Park Village is a highly rated resort located just outside Denali National Park & Preserve nestled on the banks of the Nenana River, just minutes from the park entrance. Open May to September, our guests enjoy comfortable rooms, excellent dining, and live entertainment.? 6.2 million acres of Denali National Park & Preserve is home to Mount Denali, the highest point in North America. The park welcomes over half a million visitors per year. By road, the area is 5 hours from Anchorage and 2 hours from Fairbanks. Buses traverse the 90-mile road daily throughout the warm summer months, allowing people to hike, view wildlife, climb, and camp.

Job Responsibilities

• Stocks and maintains appropriate levels of product

• Delivers product and uses transfer sheets to maintain inventory integrity

• Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains appearance of workstations and guest service areas

• Assist servers, bartenders, etc. with customer service as needed

• Maintains excellent customer service and a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc. Is adaptable to customer needs.

• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation

• Ensures security of company assets

Qualifications

The Guest Service crew consists of our front of house restaurant positions and most directly interacts with guests directly. For this reason, a higher level of English is expected. You may be assigned shifts as a busser, hostess, food runner or barista. Duties could include:

• Stocking and maintaining appropriate levels of product

• Delivering product

• Cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining appearance of workstations and guest service areas

• Assist and work with kitchen staff, servers, bartenders, etc. with customer service as needed

• Accurately operate a register/POS and handle cash and credit card transactions.

• Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs

• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, specialty beverages per brand standards

• Prepare and serve food items in line with location standards

• Maintain excellent customer service and a positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers

• Greets guests as they arrive seat them accordingly ensuring the optimum use of tables ? Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
