Job Summary:

Primary Duties:

• Installing and repairing electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.

• Installing conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables.

• Installing circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connecting wiring.

• Ensuring piping complies with electrical codes.

• Inspecting electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed.

• Replacing conduit, wiring, and circuit breakers as needed.

• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Ability to read blueprints.

• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring.

• Ability to use hand and power tools.

• Proficiency in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and manage effectively.

• Must be able to uphold the highest level of confidentiality with client relationships.

• Knowledge of or willingness to learn company software including Slack and Google Calendars/Docs/Sheets.

• Works well under stressful situations.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Completion of a formal apprenticeship with licensing is required.

• At least four years of experience in the electrical trade.

• Knowledge of or willingness to learn company software, including Slack, Google Calendars/Docs/Sheets, and Housecall Pro.

Licenses & Certificates:

• Valid drivers license.

• Valid NH Journeyman Electricial license required.

Physical Requirements:

• Physical strength when performing heavy labor is required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

• Prolonged periods of bending, reaching, climbing ladders, pulling wires and cables, crouching, and other related physical activities. Ability to discern color-coded wiring.
