Junior Electrical Engineer

Job Description

A fast-growing, innovative company in the Milford, OH area is looking for an Electrical Systems Engineer to join their team. This individual will be joining an exciting team that's revolutionizing the energy industry. This engineer will support the engine technology development into a stationary application. Responsibilities include:

-Design and development of electrical sub-systems and components for controlling innovative generator technologies.

-Work in a lab environment with hands-on support of system prototypes.

-Detailed design of electrical system schematics, wiring harnesses, and custom circuit hardware

• Build prototype and support development including the integration and troubleshooting of advanced electrical systems.

-Analysis, design, simulation and testing of electronic circuits

-Support mechanical packaging and system design to support electrical/thermal requirements

Skills and Requirements

-2-7 years of experience in product design

and ONE of the following

-Experience with Power Sub-System Design (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC, EMI, Harmonic Control, Magnetics, etc)

-Experience with modelling and simulation (MATLAB-Simulink, PSPICE, LTSPICE)

-Strong abilities to design and troubleshoot complex electrical systems.

-Circuit/schematic and PCB design (Altium or similar software)

Wire harness design experience (Zuken or similar software null
