    SCOPE OF POSITION:

    The Junior Engineer will play a vital role in supporting Construction Specialties PA's engineering department. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various facets of engineering, including capital projects, manufacturing programming, manufacturing process time studies, and product quality support. The Junior Engineer will work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to contribute to the success of the department.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Capital Projects: Assist other project engineers with tasks associated with the execution of capital projects, tasks may include the review of engineering drawings, cost estimation, and project documentation.

    • Manufacturing Programming: Assist other programming engineers in validations for manufacturing programs before delivering to manufacturing.

    • Manufacturing Process Time Studies: Conduct time studies to analyze manufacturing processes, deliver accurate data to Manufacturing Programming Supervisor for review.

    • Product Quality Support: Participate in quality assurance activities, including product testing, inspections, and quality documents.

    • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, engineering records, and reports.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and objectives.

    Qualifications

    KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

    • Rising junior or senior in a Bachelor's Degree program in Engineering or a related field.

    • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Basic understanding and exposure to engineering software and tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).

    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

    • Ability to perform guided work independently and as part of a team.

    • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
