Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience with Kafka in a production environment.

• 5+ years of experience in Java development.

• Proven experience in building and deploying APIs.

• Strong experience with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.

• Experience in developing and deploying microservices.

• Proficient in Kafka ecosystem (brokers, zookeepers, schema registry, etc.).

• Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and real-time data processing.

• Solid knowledge of RESTful API design principles.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience in the financial services industry.

• Knowledge of security best practices in financial systems.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

What You Will Be Doing

• Kafka Management:

• Design, develop, and maintain Kafka infrastructure.

• Create and manage Kafka topics, producers, and consumers.

• Monitor and optimize Kafka performance and reliability.

• Implement Kafka security and data retention policies.

• Java Development:

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Java code.

• Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.

• API Development:

• Design and implement robust and scalable RESTful APIs.

• Ensure API security, performance, and reliability.

• Integrate APIs with backend services and external systems.

• Microservices Architecture:

• Develop microservices using Spring Boot.

• Implement best practices for microservices design and deployment.

• Ensure seamless integration of microservices within the existing architecture.

• Collaboration and Support:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.

• Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
