    Job Description:

    To perform clerical and patient care support by ordering, processing, and distributing clinical laboratory specimens. Performs order entry tasks. Processes and aliquots specimens according to established protocol in order to maintain specimen integrity. Prepares slides. Prepares specimens for transport and delivery to designated locations. Performs other duties as directed by manager or designee.

    Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

    High School diploma or GED is required. Current status as a student in a CLS accredited program is required. 6 months of experience in a health care environment with direct patient care or laboratory involvement is preferred.

    For non-clinical positions, internal and external applicants must have the core competencies and sufficient work experience to perform in the per diem position for which they are applying.

    Flexible: M-F 3pm-8pm, no weekend hours required but available from 3pm-11pm

    Salary Range:

    $28.86-$36.57 per hour Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
