Laboratory Bid Process Analyst

Functions as a skilled Bid Process Data Analyst responsible for driving data-driven decision making within the Cleveland Clinic Laboratories (CCL) sales department. The role is crucial in collecting, analyzing, and evaluating financial data, operational resources, laboratory bid analysis, and responding for Request for Proposals (RFPs). Ideal candidate will have strong background in data analysis, data management and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzes and evaluates operational and financial functions of administrative and operational units within CCL service lines.

• Maintains laboratory testing fee schedules, provides input and updates.

• Conducts comprehensive statistical analysis and evaluation of CCL services and performance.

• Identifies program or service line strengths, weaknesses, and financial impact.

• Responsible for Formal RFP Test Utilization, Bid Matching, Price Request, Pricing Presentation.

• Creation of financial reports involving laboratory service line utilization and invoicing.

• Identifies opportunities for service and program improvement.Participates or leads project teams to complete high level analysis or special reports.

• Assists with the development of operational plans, procedures, and systems.

• Conducts briefings or presentations to keep others advised.

• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

• English

Certifications:

• None required.

• Excellent analytical, communication and customer service skills.

Work Experience:

• Two years of data analysis experience involving in healthcare setting.

• Offset: Master's degree and one year of experience

• Laboratory experience strongly preferred

• Experience with Microsoft Power BI strongly preferred

• Experience working with a CRM strongly preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

• Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

Personal Protective Equipment:

• Follow standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Pay Range

Minimum hourly: $25.13

Maximum hourly: $38.33
