Landscaper

Overview

We are looking to fill seasonal Maintenance Landscape Helper. If you are looking to pursue a career in maintenance, this is a great opportunity to learn more in this area.

Responsibilities

• Operates power equipment such as blowers, mowers and trimmers.

• Operates hand tools such as pruner, looping shears, shovels, and rakes.

• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment to include cleaning, greasing, oiling and fueling.

• Maintains cleanliness of greenhouse, shop and behind the scenes areas.

• Assists in new construction areas.

• Assists with the recycling crew and full-time Landscape as needed.

• Assists with the daily wash down of the Park using sweeper vehicles and backpack blowers.

• Assist in install and removal of trees.

• Cuts grass, pull weeds, rakes leaves and prunes in shrub beds in Park.

• Water/fertilizes, weeds, mulches and deadheads in flowerbeds in Park.

• Install and remove shrubbery, mulch and flowers in park.

• Transplants, water, fertilizes flowers in Greenhouse.

• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Valid driver's license required

• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.

• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.

• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
