Lead Application Developer (Angular/ React)

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Lead Application Developer to join a modernization effort for a large fintec company in Omaha, NE or Berkeley Heights, NJ. The lead application developer will be contributing to the migration of several user facing and non user facing web based applications from on prem to the azure cloud in support of the federal government. The position will require a significant amount of hands on front end development in angular and/or react well as guiding jr developers on the team. There will also be a large emphasis on UI design and website security. Strong understanding of the Azure cloud, Azure security as well as government compliance (Fedramp or Zero Trust Architecture) is highly desired. This position offers the opportunity for upward mobility and is onsite 5 days per week in either location.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years experience as a Lead full stack developer who prefers frontend development and is proficient with Angular and/or React.

Previous experience as a .Net application developer developing and deploying APIs, websites, and related software into the Azure cloud

Strong and current familiarity with Azure platforms and services, including Azure App Services, Azure API Management, Key Vault, Azure Monitor, Azure Application Insights, Azure SQL, etc.

Experience in an agile methodology Awareness of FedRAMP, FISMA, and/or Zero Trust Architecture

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using tools like Azure null
