    Job Summary and Qualifications

    The Coord Behavioral Health is responsible for the daily operation of the HCAT service. This includes providing clinical guidance, guiding the daily operations of the service, and improving performance of service. The Coord Behavioral Health is also responsible for providing leadership within the department and throughout the scope of service. Alongside the Assessment Clinicians, the Coord Behavioral Health is responsible for providing services to patients who have complex psychosocial and discharge planning needs. In addition, the Coord Behavioral Health offers crisis intervention, community assistance, and, coordinates and facilitates the development of a Discharge Plan of Care for at-risk patient population with discharge needs. The Coord Behavioral Health also functions as a member of the Interdisciplinary Patient Care Team, who communicates and receives referrals from other patient care providers to help meet the needs of the patient and family for a safe discharge.

    What qualifications you will need:

    • Requires licensure in the State of Colorado as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.

    • BCLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required at time of hire, and CPI also required within 30 days of hire.

    • Requires Masters Degree.

    • Minimum of one-year experience in healthcare management is desired, as well as three to five years' experience in psychosocial assessment, preferably within an emergency medical model.
