    As a Lead Tax Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the preparation of AT&T federal income taxes and quarterly estimates, including the analysis and interpretation of existing and upcoming federal tax legislation to identify opportunities to minimize the organization's legal tax liabilities.

    Key Roles and Responsibilities

    • Prepares US Federal consolidated return and deconsolidated return and related workpapers by required deadlines

    • Works on complex taxation related issues including, but not limited to, CAMT, 163(j) interest expense limitation, etc. where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangible factors

    • Coordinates with team members and those in other organizations to gather material data and prepare summaries of income tax concepts including cash tax forecasting for management

    • Conducts research to advise management of the tax implications of activities

    • Completes cross functional projects with other teams within and without the tax organization to drive efficiencies and tax savings

    Education: Masters degree in accounting preferred

    Experience: 8 years of relevant tax experience and in following areas:

    • Corporate Tax

    • Financial Analysis

    • Financial and Accounting Systems

    • Financial Reporting

    • General Ledger

    • Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

    • Tax Management

    • Tax Operations

    • Tax Regulations

    • Tax software (e.g., CorpTax)

    • Use of technology tools such as Alteryx, Excel, and Power BI is welcome
