    Our control systems are designed with built-in test equipment capability that enables the operator to perform on-aircraft troubleshooting, which significantly reduces the time required for on-aircraft functional tests. Robust and reliable Power Drive Units (PDUs) reduce aircraft load/unload time allowing the operator more commercial revenue flight time.

    We are hiring for a Liaison Engineer within our cargo systems team . The candidate will be responsible for the analysis and disposition of non-conforming military and commercial aerospace products.

    This position does offer relocation.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Perform a Liaison function between Manufacturing and Design Engineering

    • Work with Quality, Design, Manufacturing & Stress Engineers to determine root cause failure analysis when required.

    • Identify repeat rejection situations, create presentations that clearly convey the problem and initiate internal company and external customer design change requests to address the problem.

    • Work across a wide range of programs, parts (mechanical and electrical), materials (metallic & composites) and finishes/coatings.

    • Interact with internal customers, external customers, and suppliers.

    • Ability to present to customers and levels of leadership internally & externally.

    • Assist with Standard Work processes to continuously improve process and work instructions.

    • Analyze complex dimensional non-conformances.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.

    • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required. ~~~

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience dispositioning non-conforming product.

    • Experience working within SAP.

    • Strong understanding or Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing

    • Strong understanding of ANSI Y14.5M-1994 (drawing interpretation)

    • Experience with Siemens Products (Team Center, Unigraphics)

    • Experience with Dassault Products (CATIA V5, CADAM)
