    Annual Salary: $60,320 - $79,040 ($29 to $38 per hour)

    This is a non-exempt position that is paid by the hour. Applicants must pass a background check.

    Northwest Asthma and Allergy – 9725 Third Ave NE, Ste 500 Seattle, WA 98115

    Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

    Job Summary

    Northwest Asthma and Allergy Center is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse to support and augment the clinical staff at our Seattle clinic. This position will work closely with attending physicians to ensure that patients are getting efficient and professional medical care.

    • Greet patients/room check-in
    • Obtain vitals/health assessment
    • Shot Room/triage assignments
    • Review medication and immunizations
    • Multiple primary testing: exhaled nitric oxide test, Spirometry, skin testing procedures
    • Perform vaccinations and immunotherapy injections
    • Education and delivery of nebulizer medications
    • Continuing patient education and care planning
    • Case management of specialized medications, i.e., Xolair
    • Referral oversight

    • Demonstrates exceptional patient care and consideration
    • Committed to detailed, accurate organization and documentation
    • Self-motivated and efficient in multitasking

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Electronic Medical/Health Records (EMR/EHR) experience
    • Knowledge of Athena
    • Experience with Spirometry & Pulmonary Function Tests
    • Familiarity with skin testing preferred
    • Microsoft Office and keyboarding skills

    Required Licenses/Certifications

    • Current Washington State RN or LPN license at time of hire
    • Current Basic Life Support certification (CPR & First Aid cards)
