Job Summary : Provides direct quality care duties for the residents and monitors care of the residents under the direction of the Registered Nurse.

Current MN License as a Licensed Practical Nurse

Preference given for experience in a geriatric long-term care setting.

Work effectively with minimal supervision, strong communication skills, and ability to lead a group of people in completing tasks.

Knowledge of standards of nursing practice and awareness of standards for compliance with state and federal regulations.

Time to reach job competency is expected to be six months with at least one year of previous long term care experience. Entry-level staff are expected to reach competency in 1 year.

Hours of Work : As scheduled; may include weekdays, weekends, holidays and evenings. Schedule may vary from pay period to pay
