Intel's Technology Development (TD) Yield, 'Metrology Systems Team' is seeking a software development engineer to create full-stack software solutions. You will be designing and delivering applications for a variety of internal customers including factory operations teams, defect analysis engineers, factory automation engineers, and process integration engineers across Intel's global manufacturing network.

In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Leverage your expertise as a software engineer to build system infrastructure and applications that accelerate the pace of yield learning and process development for Intel's cutting-edge semiconductor manufacturing

• Analyze customer requirements to assess key problems driving application and/or systems design

• Maintain clear communications with customers and stakeholders while driving deliverables towards commits

• Create and execute automated test suites to prove functionality, reliability, and performance of applications being developed

• Providing expert level support to customers on use of domain applications

• Rapid develop technical expertise in existing applications and systems in order to provide troubleshooting support and deliver feature enhancements

• Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the yield engineering, factory automation, and manufacturing operations domains to solve complex challenges

• Be a thought leader on the team, contributing to our technology strategy and championing best practices for software development and CI/CD methods

• Form cross-functional relationships within our organization to develop business expertise and apply your technical judgment to define new project scopes

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Candidate must possess one of the following

• Bachelor's degree required in an engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or related science field AND 5+ years of experience in software development OR

• Master's degree with 2+ years of experience in software development

5+ years experience (with BS) or 2+ years experience (with MS) with one or more the following:

• C# / .NET

• Microsoft SQL Server / Oracle DB

• Source control (GIT or similar)

• RegEx for data parsing and validation

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years of experience on:

• Database fundamentals and experience with data querying and modeling with SQL

• A DevOps team using CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) techniques to deliver applications for a live operations environment (especially in manufacturing, yield, or defect/failure analysis)

• Knowledge of software-testing life cycle and experience building automated testing plans (unit tests, regression tests, functional tests, integrated tests)

• Dynamic web applications skills and 6+ months experience in Angular / React / Vue or similar front-end frame work

• Knowledge of or experience with statistical analysis methods such as regression analysis or machine learning techniques

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
