A production company is looking for machine operators out in the Elgin, IL area. Machine operators will need to have experience in high speed packaging. If

Job description:

• Setup and operate a high speed printing press machine Must possess sense of urgency in fast paced environment, while working safely

• Collect top and bottom sheets (dunnage) to expedite converting process.

• Practice good lock out/ tag out procedures.

• Follow reporting processes for accurate completion of production paperwork and CTI/HRMS

• Mount die boards, assist in the setup of machine, and keep machine running.

• Read and understand production order copy for every production run, and will assist operator in ensuring quality (includes basic corrugated terminology)

Skills Desired

• 2 years of high-speed package operating experience

• Need to know how to operate the machine

• Accurately read a measuring tape and ruler; and use basic shop math

• Ability to work in a high-speed packaging environment, package, and label

• Work with a sense of urgency without jeopardizing attention to detail/quality

Shift:

• 2nd shift (2pm start time)

• 3rd shift (10pm start time)

• 10-12 hour days

• M-F

Pay:

• $20-25HR
