Machine Operator

Direct Placement- Machine operator

Pay Rate: $22/hr. plus $2000 SIGN ON BONUS / ATTENDANCE BONUSES

Hours: Training on 1st shift then work on 6 PM to 6 AM Shift.

Job Description:

Will be working at the end of an extrusion line.

• This is a fast-paced extrusion line where they will be counting the wall base

boards and putting them into a box for shipping

• These positions require hand eye coordination and ability to stand on their feet all day

• Will be working off of a production schedule each day

• There are 15+ extrusion lines that run 24/7 the machines are programmed to never stop producing

• Will be lifting 50 lbs repeatedly

• This job is also very repetitive- they may be standing on the same line throughout the entire shift and completing the same task

• Will be stacking product in boxes and taping the boxes shut

• Will be checking product with gauge to ensure quality standards are being met

• Will check product to ensure color is accurate

• Will assist operator in change overs

• Will be determining scrap material, unloading it from the machine, and taking it to the grinder to be repurposed

• Some of the product is wound into a coil for shipping- it is rolled off of the machine and automatically cut and needs to be rolled and placed in a box and prepared for shipping.

• Documentation will be required once they have completed orders

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1. Must be open to working 12-hour shifts

2. Must have steel toe boots

3. Must have basic math skills - adding and subtracting

4. Must have at least 2 years of experience working in manufacturing

5. Must be able to lift 50 lbs
