Aerotek is hiring for a Press Assistant

Located in Rock Hill, SC

Able to make up to $20 per hour in the first year

Description:

The Machine Operator role supports the setup, operation, changeover, and maintenance processes on flexographic printing presses. Will be required to take direction from Press Operator, retrieve ink from inventory, stage ink and plates, empty waste bins as needed and fallow GMP's. This is an easily taught position, training process could take up to 6 months depending on the candidate. Each training section will guarantee the candidate a raise.

Films being produced are used for various customers such as, Lysol and Rust-Oleum films.

Culture:

• knit tight community amongst coworkers

• Roughly about 15-20 people per shift

• Ability to move up and earn more money

• Non Climate control

• Extremely clean, organized

• Will have to wear a hat or hair net

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Candidates MUST

• Be willing and able to work effectively in an active team environment

• Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs

• Differentiate Colors

• Basic Math (Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide)

• Read a ruler or tape measurer to 1/32 of an inch

• Will need a High School or GED

• Shift:

• 3rd shift, 6pm - 6am

• 1st shift, 6am - 6pm

• Company is able to guarantee 36 hours!

• May work every other Saturday, which would be 48 hours.

• 3rd shift does pay higher, due to shift differential
