Job Summary and Qualifications

As Maintenance Technician III-Electrician at our facility you will have the opportunity to be both an expert in your field and a caregiver, providing important services for our patients and staff. Every role has an impact on our patients' lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. You will joining an impressive team that prides themselves on keeping our hospital functioning well and looking its best. In this role:

• You will perform skilled (journey level) maintenance, repair, and building construction and serve as a technical expert in commercial utility systems.

• You will provide services as a qualified electrician by maintaining, expanding, or modifying the hospital's electrical distribution system.

• You will perform general routine maintenance and servicing operations to maintain the hospital buildings and equipment.

• You will be responsible for assigned preventative maintenance and daily non-scheduled work requests.

• You will respond to all emergency codes and provide assistance with tracking of regulatory agency compliance measures.

• You will cover all areas of the facility and accept on-call rotation as assigned.

• You will provide friendly, professional interactions with others as you encounter patients, visitors, and other hospital staff throughout your assigned shifts.

Qualifications

• State of Idaho Electrical Journeyman license required.

• 5 years of experience in commercial or hospital setting.

• Working knowledge of general building maintenance including heating, cooling and plumbing systems and technical expertise in commercial systems.

• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
