    Maintenance Technician

    Job Summary:

    Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment and systems (e.g., mechanical, electrical) |Evaluates and recommends equipment to improve availability, capability, and yield of process | Performs equipment failure analysis (including preventive and unscheduled maintenance) | Troubleshoots and diagnoses equipment problems | Submits reports to document equipment modifications and equipment maintenance procedures.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • High priority to ensure equipment functionality with responsibility for production and quality along with general building maintenance.

    • Constant monitoring of all systems (control, electrical, mechanical) during operations.

    • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as necessary.

    • Repairs and replaces defective parts and equipment, such as electric motors, pumps, piping, etc.

    • Assist in planning and execution of site maintenance shutdowns.

    • Wearing proper PPE and working in adverse conditions. (confined spaces, elevated areas, high and low temperate conditions)

    • Coordinate with Management & Operations to ensure that the facility is stocked with proper inventory of maintenance resources (tools, parts, etc.).

    • Continuing communication with leadership at site with respect to PM (Preventative Maintenance) plans and mechanical interruptions.

    Required Qualifications - Education, Skills & Experience:

    • High School diploma or equivalent

    • 1 - 2 years of related industrial maintenance experience

    • Electrical, Industrial and/or Mechanical degree or training preferred
