    • Shift Hours: M-F: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    The Specialty Pharmacy Manager is responsible for providing guidance and oversight of all pharmacy operations and clinical management of pharmacy services while ensuring URAC/ACHC accreditation and Board of Pharmacy requirements are met. The manager will develop, implement, and update policies and procedures around safety, quality, processes, and medication management. The manager will be responsible for the oversight of pharmacy expenses, trending, and identifying issues impacting key metrics. The manager will partner with the Director of Pharmacy to further develop BayCare's Specialty Pharmacy footprint by creating, analyzing, and implementing new strategies for expansion. Responsibilities include:

    • Operational, financial, and clinical functions of the department of pharmacy

    • Establishing and monitoring quality indicators

    • Continuing the development and implementation of policies and procedures for new and existing pharmacy services

    • Determining and deploying resources

    • Maintaining safe and effective departmental operations

    • Scheduling, recruitment, orientation, performance reviews and disciplinary action of pharmacy team members.

    Education:

    • Required Bachelors Pharmacy Degree

    • Preferred Masters or Doctoral Pharmacy Degree

    Credentials:

    • Required Pharmacist License - State of Florida

    • Preferred Consultant Pharmacist license

    • Preferred - ASHP (Pharmacists) - Accredited Program

    Experience:

    • 1 year Management experience

    • 1 year Pharmacy experience

    • Preferred 3 years pharmacy experience
