    NBCUniversal is looking for a Manager, Staging Operations to join our Rockefeller Center Operations team in New York City! In this role, you will be responsible for:

    • Managing all day to day staging (carpentry, props, electric and special effects) needs in a 24/7 live and taped studio production environment

    • Responding to studio issues with urgency

    • Functioning as the on-site supervisor for all studio IATSE stage employees, USA scenic designers and scenic artists within the NY studios. Support facilities and ensure studio is safe, clean, and maintained.

    • Working closely with show tech managers and Staging Director to troubleshoot issues related to set construction and design

    • Setting crew schedules for each week

    • Oversight of AM/PM crews

    • Managing staffing of employees via Storm

    • BA/BS preferred

    • Minimum 5 years working experience in a studio production environment

    • Minimum of 3 years management experience required

    • Must have strong working knowledge in set construction, studio lighting systems, and managing remote productions

    • Must have excellent client relationships

    • Working knowledge of IATSE and USA union contracts and work closely with labor relations.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

    • Must be willing to work in New York

    • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States

    • Must be 18 years or older

    • Must be able to work in a fast paced, changing, team-oriented environment and possess a "hands on" management style.

    • Must be able to work all hours including weekends and overnights and be available 24/7 if needed.

    • Manager will be required to be onsite throughout production times

    • Excellent management skills with a demonstrated track record for meeting timelines and delivering results

    • Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite.

    • This job has a shift of 12 pm - 8 pm. Please note the schedule may vary based on business needs.
