Manufacturing Engineer

System One is working with a leading manufacturer in the Tulsa, OK area to find a Manufacturing Engineer. In this role, you'll focus on improving factory costs, quality, and customer service by developing and implementing new or enhanced manufacturing processes, equipment, and layouts. You'll also lead training sessions and provide technical support for manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop processes, procedures, and documentation to improve cost, quality, and customer service while ensuring safety and compliance.

• Coordinate training initiatives and support manufacturing improvements.

• Identify and justify capital investments and purchase necessary equipment.

• Provide technical support and troubleshoot manufacturing processes.

• Recommend design changes for improved manufacturability.

• Lead safety, 5S, and Lean initiatives, including facilitating kaizen events.

• Mentor and assist with relevant projects, ensuring integration between departments.

• Apply Lean principles to optimize quality, productivity, and delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional knowledge.

• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience preferred.

• Intermediate AutoCAD and project management skills required.

• SAP experience is a plus.

• Understanding of Lean concepts is necessary.
