    Marketing Researcher Responsibilities

    1. Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand.

    2. Prepare reports of findings, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text.

    3. Design and execute innovative quantitative and qualitative research to support marketing strategies and Meta at large.

    4. Synthesize current business intelligence or trend data to support recommendations for action.

    5. Identify and analyze industry or geographical trends with business strategy implications.

    6. Devise and evaluate methods and procedures for collecting data, such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires, or arrange to obtain existing data based on analytical review and findings.

    7. Analyze technology trends to identify markets for future product development or to improve sales of existing products.

    8. Leverage findings to shape positioning and messaging, drive creative briefs, and inform the development of product level or company level narratives.

    9. Demonstrate ability to harness and translate strategic insights into actionable marketing plans, hunger to drive significant business result/impact, orientation toward strategic thinking to drive product/brand outcomes.

    10. Build strong cross-functional partnerships, insights and strategy for hardware/physical products as well as retail, shopper and category management.

    11. Demonstrate proactivity, energy, flexibility, collaboration, and a passion for translating complex ideas into simple and compelling messages.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    Minimum Qualifications

    1. Requires a Master's degree in Information Systems Management, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Marketing, or a related field and 5 years of work experience in job offered or a quantitative data analysis-related occupation.

    2. Requires 5 years of experience in the following:

      1. Executing qualitative and quantitative research, including discussion guide, questionnaire design, fielding, analytics, and reporting
      1. Data management and analytics methodologies
      1. Utilize statistics for significance testing, correlation analysis, and driver analysis
      1. Conducting product, brand, and advertising research, including marketing effectiveness
      1. Independently executing full-cycle research and using insights from primary and secondary research to inform strategies and influence business outcomes
      1. Communication and presentation skills with a proven track record of delivering concise, executive level synthesis to influence business decisions and strategies
      1. Leading insights-driven campaigns/product launches from definition to execution, driving impact and influencing product and marketing decision-making
      1. Applying a creative, holistic, technical, and analytical way of thinking
      1. Conducting quantitative and qualitative research, including hands-on experience in survey/discussion guide and data analysis (weighting, data cleaning, or regression)
      1. Problem-solving and prioritization experience to move from blank slate to a research problem matched with a methodology
      1. Collaborating proactively and effectively with a broad variety of partners
      1. Building brand and brand strategy development

    Public Compensation:

    $201,386/year to $217,470/year + bonus + equity + benefits
