Material Handler

Material Handler, Everett

$22-$27/HR

Description:

• Collaborate and communicate with Production, Operations, and Engineering with movement of parts to support our operations

• Maintaining clean, organized storage locations across the shipping, receiving, and storage areas

• Verify all materials are packaged and banded for transport

• Assist with loading and unloading trucks

• Work with Shipping and Receiving, Purchasing, and other related departments to resolve problems related to distribution of material

• Updating material storage records inside the company's ERP software

• Operate material handling equipment including, but not limited to: forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts

• Support first shift operating from 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Required Skills

• 2+ years of related experience

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Excellent organizational skills

• Ability to lift / carry 75 lbs.

• Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position

• Must be willing to work in an open-aired environment, lacking temperature controls

• Must be able to work overtime and / or weekends when needed to meet critical deadlines

Preferred Experiences

• Experience in NetSuite

• Forklift operation experience and up-to-date forklift certification

Experience Level:

Intermediate Level
