Mechanical Engineer

ASRC Federal Cyber is seeking a Mechanical Engineer at Fort Greely, Alaska.

Responsibilities:

• Designs, plans mechanical engineering projects such as power plants HVAC systems Environmental Control Units and chillers.

• Analyzes maps, blueprints and drawings.

• Calculates cost and determines feasibility of project based on analysis of collected data, applying engineering and advanced mathematic principles.

• Inspects construction site to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering specifications.

• Interpret manuals, drawings, and documents.

• Redline drawings and update the Government FSOMM system.

Requirements :

Requirements:

• BS/BA in Engineering or related field or equivalent years of experience

• 5-7 years of directly related work experience.

• Must maintain a valid US driver's license.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

• Must possess strong computer skills, including, but not limited to Microsoft Office products.

• Proficiency in speaking and writing in the English language to effectively conduct business with industry and Government.

• Ability to handle interactions with the customer and company employees in a courteous, professional, and effective manner.
