Mechanical Engineer

Actalent Engineering is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support our client in the Northern Virginia. Our client is a multidisciplinary engineering firm who supports federal, state, and commercial clients in DMV area! This position is a full-time, long-term, direct hire position!

Job Description

The Mechanical Engineer will have the opportunity to support a large government project in Indian Head, MD, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Technical review of mechanical design documents

• Design of facilities and buildings

• Collaborate with different teams to go over design

• Conduct field/site visits

Top Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in mechanical design

• EIT certification or PE license is preferred, not required

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related

• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit

• Experience with HVAC system design and system selection
