Medical Assistant

Adecco Medical & Science is looking for a Medical Assistant for our client in Orlando, FL !

Type: 4-month Contract, with potential for extension or full time offer

Schedule: 8 am to 5 pm, Mon - Fri

Pay: $22 to 24/hr

Dress: Dark Blue/Royal Scrubs

Specialty: Primary Care

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:

• Assist Physicians with injections, EKGs and phlebotomy tasks

• Maintain quality control standards.

• Coordinate patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies.

• Organize, stock and clean exam and treatment rooms and sterilize instruments.

• Chart prep, Room Patients, Scanning/Faxing records, Phone intake calls and other duties as assigned by providers.

Qualifications for the Medical Assistant:

• Highschool/GED or equivalent

• Associates Degree

• National or Registrar Medical Assistant from American Medical Association.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) language proficiency

• 1+ year of experience as a Medical Assistant or related experience in a medical setting

• ICD-9/10 AND CPT Coding experience

• Strong Medical Terminology Knowledge

• Microsoft Software (Word/Excel) experience

• Immunizations required: MMR, Seasonal Flu shot, Varicella, TB Blood test, Hep B., Tdap
