    Job Description :

    Goal - exposure to a variety of organizational effectiveness department processes with an emphasis on OD/HRD-related focus areas such as learning and development, coaching/consulting, II&D, research/analysis, process improvement and assessment.

    Qualification - Intern must be currently enrolled in a human resources, I/O psychology, or business degree program through a university or college

    Period - university semester, may continue subsequent semesters

    • Possess excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills

    • Possess strong computer skills, including experience creating spreadsheets, databases, forms, presentations, and reports. Should be proficient with the entire Microsoft Office suite

    • Be able to identify and define problems, collect and analyze data, identify root cause, and implement optimal solutions

    • Demonstrate flexibility and a "can do" attitude towards all customer interactions and assignments and be willing to take on new challenges

    • Must be able to respect and maintain strict confidentiality

    Description

    The Organizational Effectiveness (OE) Intern will work in the Methodist Health System OE Department assisting the OE and PE Teams with various department activities. These activities include but are not limited to assisting with OE-related projects and programs, completing administrative tasks, and supporting the OE department as needed. The OE Intern will be encouraged to make recommendations for process improvements and may assist in special projects assigned by OE or HR leadership.
