Medical Receptionist

Description

Robert Half is looking for a Medical Receptionist to temporarily take over the front desk at one of Portland's premier healthcare clinics. The role is crucial, as you will be the first point of contact at the office, handling everything from greeting guests to scheduling appointments. The ideal candidate will have experience with Epic medical records, excellent communication skills, multi-line phone experience, and a passion for healthcare.

How you will make an impact

• Greet and direct all visitors

• Check patients in

• Schedule appointments

• Verify Insurance

• Take payments

• Ensure completion of paperwork

• Facilitate sign-in and security procedures

• Answer a multi-line phone

• Receive, review, and distribute incoming mail

• File, print, scan, and fax documents

Requirements

• Epic medical records experience

• Multi-line phone experience

• Scheduling experience

• The ability to collaborate with co-workers

• High attention to detail

• Strong organization skills

• Excellent communication and social skills

• Exceptional keyboarding and computer skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency
