    SOS International LLC (SOSi) seeks a Network Administrator to join our team at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Honolulu, HI. As a Network Administrator, you'll play a vital role in maintaining and supporting network operation, maintenance, and security, ensuring DoD compliance. Our team, based in Honolulu, Hawaii, creates, manages, and supports IT solutions for USINDOPACOM, its mission, and its 5,000+ customers throughout the Pacific theater. We tackle challenging technical problems critical to enabling USINDOPACOM's realization of time sensitive C2 strategies.

    Essential Job Duties

    As a Network Administrator at SOS International LLC, you will work within the Network Operations team to provide essential support within the USINDOPACOM Area-of-Responsibility (AOR). Your role includes monitoring, maintenance, and ensuring network availability, all while adhering to DoD regulations. You will be responsible for managing various network components, including LAN, BAN, WAN, telecommunications/transport protocols, Unified Communications/VoIP/Video Teleconferencing (VTC), WAN accelerators, load-balancers, firewalls, and cryptographic devices.

    • Configuring and maintaining Cisco routers, switches, ASA, CSFC, Taclane encryption devices, and Cisco VOIP systems to support efficient data flow within the network, while following established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) when necessary.

    • Implementing and providing oversight of CSFC and Taclane encryption methods to protect sensitive data.

    • Providing essential support in the maintenance of VDI environments, ensuring efficient and secure user access.

    • Managing Cisco Call Manager, VTCs, and Cisco VOIP systems to ensure reliable communication services.

    • Collaborating with the Cross-Domain Solutions team to facilitate secure information sharing across security domains.

    • Participating in the installation, configuration, and implementation of network equipment for new projects and requirements.

    • Liaising with points of contact (POCs) and customers to understand their network needs and providing appropriate solutions.

    • Actively participating in project coordination alongside the project management team to ensure successful project execution.

    • Diligently following guidance and direction from the Network Operations Lead, Deputy, and Operations Manager, adhering to established standards and procedures for entry-level network administration.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Active in-scope SECRET clearance.

    • DoD 8570 IAT-II compliant (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)

    • 2+ years of experience in network administration, with expertise in Cisco routers, switches, ASA, Palo Alto firewalls, CSFC, Taclane encryption methods, VDI environments, Cross-Domain Solutions, Cisco Call Manager, and VTCs.

    • Knowledge of network security best practices and compliance standards.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot network issues.

    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing network requirements, and effectively communicate with POCs and customers.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Relevant IT certifications, particularly related to Cisco and network security.

    • Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) protocols and procedures.

    • Experience with virtual infrastructure, VDI/thin-client, and VoIP deployments.

    • Knowledge of Forcepoint, Juniper, and other network technologies.

    • Proficiency in Help Desk and software applications.

    • Awareness of Command and Control (C2) applications.

    Work Environment

    • Fast-paced and deadline-oriented work environment

    • Potential for non-traditional working hours, including consecutive nights and weekends

    • Occasional travel to locations within the supported Area-of-Responsibility (AOR)
