Nurse Practitioner Urgent Care

Join a dedicated and collegial team of professionals as a full-time Urgent Care nurse practitioner for SEARHC and help provide vital care services to an underserved patient population in Klawock, Alaska. In this beautiful Alaskan community, you will provide comprehensive Urgent Care, Primary Care and even potentially some Emergency services at a facility that sees people from all across Prince of Wales Island. This position therefore plays a vital role in the overall health and wellbeing of the entire region. Since this role may involve providing some emergency care, candidates with emergency/trauma care experience are highly preferred. Join SEARHC and be part of a team-oriented and driven group of healthcare professionals working daily to change lives in Klawock, Alaska.

• Full-time, Monday to Friday swing shifts 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

• Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and in other clinics, as needed

• Outpatient care only

• Highly diverse environment with opportunity to work on a wide range of cases involving Urgent Care, Primary Care and Emergency Care

• Comprehensive benefits include health, vision, dental, PTO and retirement

• Emergency/Trauma experience is highly preferred

• Must be comfortable with procedures such as moderate sedation, tracheostomies, ACLS, PALS, BLS, suturing and splinting, joint injections, dislocation/fracture reductions and more
