ICF Next is looking for a dynamic On-Call Bilingual Copy Editor based in the United States to support our Creative Studio. If you're ready to use your expertise in Spanish copy editing to help our government and commercial clients better reach their audiences, and you want the flexibility of remote work and variable hours ( from zero to 30 per week ), you may be the ideal fit!

As an On-Call Bilingual Copy Editor , you will:

• Support our clients in tackling issues such as smoking cessation, disease prevention, energy efficiency, disaster preparedness, HIV/AIDS, and more.

• Edit and proofread Spanish-language materials for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, clarity, and consistency.

• Collaborate with our team of translators, editors, and other Creative Studio members to refine translations and deliver exceptional work.

• Connect with account teams to ensure brand voice and tone are tailored for intended Spanish-language audiences.

• Conduct thorough fact checking to verify accuracy.

• Ensure all work is consistent with established brand guidelines and strategy, and help maintain Spanish editorial style guidelines.

• Stay up to date on Spanish-language trends, style guides, and best practices in editing and communications.

You will have

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in editing and proofreading Spanish content, preferably in a consultancy environment.

• A bachelor's degree in communications, Spanish, or a related field.

• Fluency in Spanish grammar, syntax, punctuation, and spelling, as well as familiarity with U.S. Spanish-language conventions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and shared workspaces.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment, juggling multiple competing deadlines.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is:

$52,488.00 - $89,230.00
