Operations Manager

A recognized Distribution and Supply Chain leader with a track record of operational excellence and client satisfaction. We seek an experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Dallas, Texas.

Job Description:

The Supply Chain Specialist will play a crucial role in our operations department. This role requires managing and optimizing our supply chain activities, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supply forecasting. The successful candidate will ensure our operations are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with company objectives.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage the full lifecycle of the supply chain, from procurement to delivery.

Analyze and interpret supply chain data and metrics to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Develop and implement supply chain strategies in line with company goals.

Manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors, ensuring excellent communication and alignment.

Coordinate and monitor the supply and demand to prevent product shortages and excess stock.

Implement new technologies and software to streamline supply chain processes.

Work with other departments to integrate the supply chain with company procedures and operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or experience in a related field is preferred. 

Minimum of 20 years of experience in supply chain management, focusing on logistics, procurement, or inventory management.

Proven experience as a Supply Chain Specialist or similar role in a high-volume environment.

Deep understanding of supply chain procedures and best practices.

Strong analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach.

Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

Proficient with supply chain software and forecasting tools.

Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
