Operator 2 – Stick Up Calendar (SUC Operator)

Must be able to occasionally work 2nd shift during peak season. May - September

8 hour shifts available

12 hour shifts available

Job Summary:

Under general supervision sets up, adjusts, and operates various equipment associated with our Stick Up area and packs the product for shipment or storage.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operating both sick Up #1 & Stick Up#2 including set-up, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Under limited supervision match mounts, plates, and dies with orders.
• Operate the machine to produce high quality hot stamped, die cut, and embossed materials as instructed.
• Assemble and packs the product into cartons to be shipped to customers in a timely manner.
• Efficiently run all additional machines within the department.
• Follow manufacturing order to produce quality product that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Follow all quality, lean, safety and rate expectations.
• May work and train temporary associates and give direction to the temporary associates during the heavy calendar production months.
• Operator will be cross trained in various departments throughout the facility as needed.
• Reach, bend, twist, grasp, stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive motion tasks correctly.
• Lift up to 40 pounds frequently; team lift at higher weights. • Excellent record of ability to work safely.
• Must be available to work rotating shifts as scheduled including weekend and overtime as required.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

Job Skills:

• Reading, writing, and math skills at the high school graduate or GED level.

• 1-year production experience in manufacturing setting.

• Detail oriented.

• Basic computer skills.
