  • Responsibilities

    RN to work in a busy Orthopaedic practice with newborn to geriatric aged patients. Responsibilities include direct care of ambulatory Orthopaedic pts, brace fitting, setting up and assisting with procedures, suture staple removal, medication administration, cast and splint application, patient and staff education, charge nurse duties, JC preparation and performance improvement activities. Must be able to work in a very fast-paced environment, able to multitask and lead a team in providing optimal patient care and throughput. Able to represent the strong commitment with staff and patients. NYS license and a minimum of three years of experience is required. Prior experience in ambulatory care and/or Orthopaedics is preferred.

    Qualifications

    Requires a Diploma, Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State RN license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 6-12 months of RN experience. This position assumes the charge nurse role, actively participates in unit/service activities, supports co-workers, and assesses unit needs.

    Pay Range

    Pay Range: $34.00- $44.20

    The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
