Provides musculoskeletal specialty care and medical to patients.

WellSpan Orthopedics is look for a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to join their practice in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. This practice is a comprehensive practice serving Franklin County, and surrounding areas. WellSpan Health is a nationally recognized, integrated health system that serves the communities of Central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland. Position Highlights:

• Enjoy a well- established practice of long-standing providers

• Practice has conveniently located in house x-ray capabilities

• Enjoy working with a well-trained support staff who is also certified in casting

• Position is designed for lifestyle balance with reasonable call

• This position is a total joint position, Joint Fellowship is preferred

• Applicant should be Certified or eligible for certification by the America Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons

Qualifications

Minimum Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or

• Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses

• Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or

• Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training

• Certification from the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery or the American Osteopathic Board of Orthopedic Surgery. Upon Hire Required and

• Completion of an appropriate residency program. Upon Hire Required and

• Must qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of one or more WellSpan hospitals. Upon Hire Required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Clinical skills and knowledge of emergency medicine techniques and occupational medicine.

• Teaching skills.
