PC Technician

Description 100% onsite in St. Paul, MN*

Robert Half has a client with a permanent position focused on building new accounts in Active Directory and imaging laptops for new hires using SCCM. This is a company that handles a lot of acquisitions and the onboarding of new users and need for new profiles in Active Directory and fresh workstations is an ongoing need for them.

• Image and set up new computers using SCCM

• Keep track of equipment and collaborate on possible purchases - Handle take down, packaging, transportation and setup/installation of new workstations

• Take down, box and ship equipment that is outdated - Record daily data communication transactions, issues and remedial actions or installation activities

• Comply with company quality standards to ensure sound electronic data records

• Transfer data from PC to PC and troubleshoot software/hardware as well as break/fix

• Take responsibility for technology implementation projects and carry them out

• Demonstrated experience in Active Directory

• Practical knowledge of Computer Hardware

• Skill in Configuration Management

• Experience in Deployments

• Proven ability in Deskside Support

• Familiarity with Desktop Imaging

• Experience in Computer Imaging

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently and within a team

• Strong customer service orientation

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Willingness to keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in IT support
