  • Responsibilities

    facilitate/coordinate patient flow through Golisano Children's Hospital through timely admission of patients from ambulatory areas, Peds ED, direct admits, and transfers from outside hospitals. Exciting opportunity to continue to develop the PAS role and expand daily coverage for GCH. Strategic thinker, excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, and comfort level with navigating conversations across disciplines are highly desirable for the skill set. The PAS will interface regularly with provider teams, emergency department staff, all inpatient/outpatient areas, and patients and families. BSN and 3-5 years of pediatric nursing experience required. Previous leadership experience is desirable. Must have flexibility to meet scheduling needs.

    Qualifications

    Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will need 3 - 5 years of pediatric nursing experience required. Previous leadership experience desirable. Must have flexibility to meet scheduling needs.

    Pay Range

    Pay Range: $41.00 - $57.40

    The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
