As part of our Silicon Technologies group, you'll help design and manufacture our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient system-on-chip (SoC). You'll ensure Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions! In this highly visible role, you will be at the center of a multimedia IP design effort working with all fields, with a critical impact on getting functional products to millions of customers quickly.

    Key Qualifications

    • Experience with control centric design is helpful.

    • Exposure to scripting languages and demeanor to automate tasks to improve scalability.

    • Preferably experience in IP/SoC design, integration, and implementation.

    • Industry exposure to and knowledge of ASIC/FPGA design methodology, especially logic synthesis, static timing analysis, logic equivalence checking, and working with physical design teams for floor-planning and timing closure.

    • Experience with system design methodologies that contain multiple clock domains.

    • Familiarity with common on-chip bus protocols such as AMBA (AXI, AHB, APB).

    • Experience in low-power design issues, tools, and methodologies including UPF power intent specification helpful.

    • Excellent collaboration skills, and outstanding written and verbal communication.

    Description

    As an IP Design Engineer, you will have responsibilities spanning all aspects of multimedia IP design: - Will be responsible for imaging design, integration, and implementation for subsystems containing both internal and external Ips. - Responsibility includes feasibility, micro-architecture, RTL design, front-end implementation and post-silicon system bring-up.

    Education & Experience

    Minimum of BS + 3 years relevant industry experience.

    • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900.00 and $256,500.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
